Early March

On Monday morning we decided to take a drive to Turner Falls, OK, which is south of Ada. Many people come here to camp, play in the water, and just have some family fun. Although it wasn't anything like Snoqualmie Falls, and other falls we have seen, it was beautiful. Remember, the land in Oklahoma is pretty flat!  But we enjoyed the scenery and had fun.

Fried pies are common in OK, so we at least needed to try one. They are like a turnover, fried all through.  This place was incredibly busy just to eat fried pies!
The first Monday of every month, we held a family home evening in our apartment. This is our last FHE!

Dr. Jorge Solarzano, a former ward member,  and his family presented a wonderful slideshow about Peru at ECU (East Central University). They had a fun display and it was so great to see them again!

We received a fun box full of goodies and beautiful notes from our Young Women!
Homemade posole, one of Elder Lemmert's favorites, was given to him by Bernadine. He was in heaven!
Bernadine, our wonderful friend, baptized May 2015.
