We arrived home at 5:30 pm to be greeted by David & Jenna and the kids with a great sign that said, "Welcome Home Elder & Sister Lemmert".
Sitting on the counter were a dozen gorgeous yellow roses, with dinner in the oven. What a great welcome! We ate dinner together and by 7:00 pm we were in the Stake President's office to be released from our mission. It was a sad time when we took off our missionary badges....
Of course, one of our first stops after we arrived home was our hangout at "In-N-Out Burger". Lunch for less than $9.00
Eileen and Jamie surprised us by meeting us at the restaurant where we met Casey (grandson) and Demi for a birthday dinner.
Barbecue at Casey's home. Eileen is in the center by her dad.
Our prickly pear cactus was in bloom. The blooms only last about one day, so I loved to see this blossom on the cactus.
We purchased a new car because our Ada car was a little worn out!
Emily & Jason and our grandson came from California to welcome us home#
Posing at David's workplace on a Kenworth Truck were Emily and the grandkids. When you come home from your mission, it's all about family. There are still more to see!
